BARS Program Compliance Checker
The BARS Program, is the largest tobacco and alcohol compliance training service in North America.
Our in-store training service is sold to major convenience store chains (e.g. Walmart, Meijer, Kroger, 7-11, Circle K, etc.). We monitor if store employees are asking for ID when tobacco and alcohol products are purchased. All the stores know we are coming, they just don’t know who we are sending and when.
Age Requirement: Must be exactly 21 to 25 years old (This is a Bona Fide

Each new talent needs to watch the training video in your office at Mixed staffing and then call our office before they begin the job for a brief verbal training and their checker’s code. During their visits the checker leaves either a green or a red card with the cashier and they MUST get the cashier’s name. When the checker returns to their car they write the information down on a BARS provided visit list which tracks the date, time, fail or pass, and the correct cashier’s name. We do verify each and every cashier’s name with the customer’s stores for legitimacy, if the talent cannot get the cashiers name they are to provide an excellent description. It may affect the talent’s pay if we cannot verify given names/descriptions – the talent will absolutely not be paid for forged names. We train and explain this to the talent when they call to check in with us.
The jobs occur every month, indefinitely, and the hours and mileage of the routes vary. The talent MUST report the visits the same day they do them on our website or by calling 1-800-505-9820.
